Common Alloy Grades:

• YT5: Known for its excellent strength, impact resistance, and shock resistance, although it has lower wear resistance. Ideal for roughing and semi-finishing of carbon steel and alloy steel (including forgings and cast iron surfaces) during intermittent cutting.

• YT14: Offers high strength, good impact resistance, and shock resistance, similar to YT5 but with improved wear resistance. Suitable for rough milling of carbon steel and alloy steel in continuous cutting, as well as semi-finishing and fine turning during intermittent cutting.

• YG3X: Exhibits the highest wear resistance among tungsten-cobalt-titanium alloys but has lower impact toughness. Best suited for high-speed finishing of cast iron, non-ferrous metals and their alloys, and small cross-section alloy steel.

• YG6: Has better wear resistance than YG3, while providing superior impact resistance and vibration damping compared to YG3X. Suitable for semi-finishing and finishing operations at medium cutting speeds for cast iron.
